Tucson Hearing Aids

We provide services for companies that protect their employees from noise exposure. If there is noise at or above 85 dBHL, OSHA guidelines requires the company to monitor the hearing of its employees annually. Surprisingly, many people feel 85 dBHL is not very loud, but exposure to this level of noise for eight hours or longer can damage hearing. OSHA requires hearing protection to be worn at 90 dBHL.

We test, screen and monitor noise levels, conduct annual reports, and keep records for companies required by OSHA to test hearing. Please call us for further details and costs, which depend on the number of people to be tested.

A new survey by the Better Hearing Institute shows working Americans who ignore their hearing problems are losing at least $100 billion a year in earnings. The average amount of annual income lost by working people who ignore their hearing problem ranges from $1,000 for those with even a mild hearing loss to $12,000 for those with a profound hearing loss. The research also shows that, on average, wearing a hearing device cuts this income loss in half. Good communication skills are what keep us in the know!
